Who runs this site

This site, pufferpolo.online, is run by Puffer Polo. You can reach us at pufferpolo@gmail.com.

What the game collects

Nothing. There are no accounts, and the game does not ask for your name, email or any other personal details. Scores are not saved.

Playing online

When you create or join an online game, your browser connects directly to the other player's browser. To set that up, your browser contacts a third-party matchmaking service (PeerJS), and if a direct connection is not possible the game data passes through that service's relay servers. This means your IP address is visible to that service and to the player you connect with. We do not record or store any of it.

Hosting and fonts

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep standard server logs such as IP addresses and the pages requested. The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser also makes a request to Google when the page loads.

Advertising

This site shows ads from Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners show you ads based on those visits.

You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and you can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
